L'ombra de la Badia

Daniel Llusa Ribes

Under the summer sun, in La Ràpita, a town of the Ebre Lands on the catalan coast, arrive just like every year thousands of tourists of all kinds of origins, crowding the beaches, the parking spots and… the morgue? Two friends (Àngela and Denise) are meeting up to go out partying with a couple they’re also friends with (Izan and Nerea), without knowing the latter have stuck their noses where they shouldn’t have. Anyone can have a bad day, but for Tanit, a local and tourism-phobic Sea Museum worker, today’s the straw that broke the camel’s back. It also doesn’t help that she’s armed with a hoe loaded with an ancient curse already believed to be a legend. On the bay, you can run, but you cannot hide. It’s time to duck hunt. Loosely based on a passage of the book “Camins de Nit”, by Sebastià Juan Arbó
