Caterina Mayol Umbert

The situation becomes increasingly tense as Maria continues to observe the two boys with distrust. Their gestures, though polite, seem unnatural, as if they are hiding something. When Maria tries to talk to her husband about her suspicions, he remains indifferent and insists that she shouldn’t worry, as the boys only need help. However, as the night progresses, the tension grows. Maria begins to feel trapped, unable to escape the situation. When she decides to investigate further, she discovers clues that confirm her worst fears: the boys are not only lying about their story, but they also have more sinister plans in mind. At this moment, Maria must decide whether to trust her intuition and become her own heroine, or if, out of fear or confusion, she will continue with the situation, risking losing control of her own safety.
