Tierra Húmeda

David Mendizábal

After the death of her husband, Nagore (70 years old) takes advantage of this new freedom to reconnect with the main driving force of her life: the family home. A home that represents a legacy for her daughter and granddaughter, and proof that, throughout her life, she has been able to "create something." However, her body and time try to warn her that a new stage has arrived. The loss of autonomy is a harsh blow for Nagore, who will try to fight against the passage of time and, unknowingly, also against her own family. This story explores themes such as generational displacement, the loss of autonomy, and the complexity of family relationships as old age causes profound changes in the dynamics between parents, children, and grandchildren.
