Laura portrays the relationship between Albert and Laura, siblings from a family of three members who, despite the blood bond, don’t get along. They don’t love each other, they don’t insult each other, but neither is there any physical violence; they simply ignore each other. This dysfunctional relationship seems not to affect them, and for years we see how their lives go on despite carrying that weight they don’t seem to notice. However, in some fleeting moments, we can see how they realize that something isn’t right, but they choose to ignore it. This continues until they come of age and their dreams are closer to coming true. It’s then that, finally, this relationship of mutual ignorance may come to an end and something new may begin, through an embrace. The first time they hug, they will finally realize that they have always been there.
