Ulises is a young bassist living in Berlin, where he is studying Jazz. After five years of comings and goings, he returns to prepare for a concert tour with his friend Fernando. The return to his hometown, situated in a mining basin surrounded by mountains — where there are literally more dead inhabitants than living ones — awakens buried emotions. New reunions, friendships, post-rock, and a graffiti that has been erased for years still reading “Ulises is a faggot.” Under the conservative gaze of the entire town, Ulises must confront his feelings while, for the first time, questioning who he really is.
