Carla, a 14-year-old girl, faces life with rebellion and defiance. She lives with her single mother in a roadside restaurant, far from a conventional childhood, skipping school and spending time with her friend Efraín. But her life takes an unexpected turn when a social worker discovers that she is five months pregnant. Admitted to La Maternal, a center for teenage mothers, Carla will have to face an unknown reality and grow up overnight. Alongside other young mothers and their babies, she will discover the hardships and emotions of motherhood in an intense journey toward adulthood for which no one has prepared them. A sensitive and powerful drama directed by Pilar Palomero, focusing on second chances, the strength of sisterhood, and the passage from adolescence to maturity.
